2. Gaza Crisis Deepens as Aid Shortages and Israeli Military Operations Continue
Exactly one year since the announcement of the United States-sponsored ceasefire on October 10, 2025, more than 100 NGOs are saying that the ceasefire is nothing but ink on paper. Israeli military operations have resulted in almost 1,500 Palestinians being killed in the last year, whereas aid and material shortages are preventing any rebuilding and worsening the serious medical shortages and leaving 1.4 million people starving. The aid agencies and UN urge international response, citing the killing of civilians, blocking of evacuation of patients, and enlargement of buffer zones as violations of the ceasefire and international laws.
